Could yall get behind “A Day without our Dollar” where we don’t support any white businesses that day. Because I’m trying to organize this.
I know this was tried during Blk Friday and there was a noticeable decrease in sales but since killing us is like Tuesday, I think it’s gotta break everyday normal business practices like Tuesday. I think this means we also as a community have to pile all of our black business resources and make sure each other have what they need to survive these financial blackout days. I think in this I am also trying to charge the Divine 9 to all take a public stance and be more readily dedicated to carrying out financial blackouts but also offering each other more protection.
Maybe this is also a day we donate a dollar to some local politicians who are fighting for us? I think we also need to promote the app or website that helps let us know who our local government is and when their position will be open.
I’m down for this.
